What is PolyPeek?
PolyPeek is a free analytics dashboard for Polymarket prediction markets. It tracks trading volume, liquidity and price moves across thousands of markets and surfaces large trades ("whale alerts") in real time.
What is a whale alert?
A whale alert fires when a market sees an unusually large volume inflow within a short time window — starting at $25,000. The arrow shows which side the money moved into: YES (price up) or NO (price down).
How fresh is the data?
Market data is refreshed every 30 minutes around the clock. The timestamp next to each whale alert shows when the move was detected.
Is PolyPeek affiliated with Polymarket?
No. PolyPeek is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Polymarket. All market data originates from Polymarket’s public API.
Can I trade on PolyPeek?
No — PolyPeek is analytics only. Every market links out to the corresponding page on polymarket.com where you can trade.
Do whale alerts mean smart money is betting?
Not necessarily. A large volume move can come from one trader or many, from informed money or noise. Whale alerts are a signal to look closer — not financial advice.
How are categories determined?
Categories come from Polymarket’s own market tags. We curate the most relevant ones (Politics, Sports, Crypto, Esports and more) and rank them by trading volume.
Is PolyPeek free?
Yes, completely free. Premium features like real-time push alerts may be added later.
